Celebrate 30 Years at the Children’s Museum

A trip to Tucson is never complete without visiting the Children’s Museum when you have little ones, but this July marks the 30th anniversary of the museum’s opening, and it’s a party that can’t be missed. On July 30, admission is just $3, and the entire family is welcome to come learn, play and discover. It’s an ice cream social party that goes perfectly with a trip to the Wee World exhibit, a brand new place to play with a carrot car, rock slide and much more.

Next up, head to the Imaginarium, new and improved, just in time for the big 3-0. It’s the epicenter of learning, imagination and creativity. You’ll also want to check out the Mini Nano Exhibit, where nanoscience learning starts early. At the Investigation Station, STEM goes hands-on with testing your juggling skills and checking out the power pump seats.

Stay and Play

At Techtopia, the digital world meets the natural world with bugs, mosaics, crazy readings and more. Bodyology is where you’ll learn about all the functions of the body, including the weird and gross. Building is made super fun at Build It, where kids go all-out creating some crazy contraptions.

From the Whistle Stop Gallery to the Electri-City Gallery, you’ll easily spend a whole day exploring, ice cream in hand, this milestone for Tucson’s best museum for little ones.
