Explore the Annual Spring Street Fair

Looking for a spring fling near your Tucson U of A hotel? The Spring Fair kicks off April 1-3 from 10am-6pm each day. Located between Ninth Street and University Boulevard, it’s a free family-friendly event where you’ll find vendors showcasing the most delicious grub and incredible art. Live music, jugglers and street performers, and the kid’s hands-on art pavilion promises a Tucson experience like no other.

Bring the kids for balloons, face painting, demos, and more. It’s the biggest arts venue in the area, and it quickly became a city tradition in 1970. Parking is simple with a free shuttle from the Pennington Parking Garage and Main Gate Square (U of A). There’s free valet bike parking on the weekends, or you can park at any U of A parking garage (free on weekends). Just take the Modern Streetcar from any garage to the fair.

A Long History

Over 40 years ago, the first merchants claimed downtown as their own for a festival weekend. It was originally intended as a holiday festival and attracted attendees from around the country. Now, up to 350,000 people visit each year. This is one of the top-ranked arts fairs in the nation.

Enjoy over 400 art booths featuring wood, metal, glass, clay, jewelry, food, and handmade craft works. With more than 35 food vendors dishing up everything from Greek to Thai fare and fry bread, two stages for entertainment, rock climbing and flight simulators, there’s something for everyone!
