A relaxing weekend is Tucson Parks complete with a picnic or hike in the park. Tucson is fortunate to have an abundance of parks that are not only beautiful and relaxing but provide lots of opportunities for friends and families to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.

Christopher Columbus Park is not only surrounded by beautiful mountain views but it is also the perfect place for a leisurely afternoon. Complete with a dog park, playground and model airplane area, the kids and Fido are sure to love it! For the amateur anglers, enjoy an afternoon of fishing in the lake. Stocked with bass, sunfish, trout, catfish and amur, prop up in your lawn chair under the large shade trees and cast your heart away.

Catalina Park is the perfect spot for the kids on a hot summer day. Located in the heart of Tucson, Catalina Park boast of picnic tables, splash pad and newly remodeled playground. Pass your time people watching and taking in the sun while throwing the Frisbee or walking your dog.

Agua Caliente Park is a smaller park located on the far East side of Tucson, it is hailed as Tucson’s best kept secret. Formerly part of a ranch, Agua Caliente Park is full of large shade trees, picnic areas, beautiful mountain views and large ponds. Take an afternoon stroll or bring the family for a cook out. Browse through the art gallery and nature shop inside the restored main ranch house.
